With Valentine’s Day just a few short days away, many people are still scrambling for gift ideas. Whether it be for your best friends or boyfriend, everyone wants to give the perfect gift, but keep in mind, it’s the love behind it that really matters. If it puts a smile on the person’s face, at the end of the day, that’s what counts. Here are some gift ideas for the special people in your life.

For Her:

Skin Care

Skin care is always in season! Winter makes faces dry and summer makes faces oily, so help your girls out and help them stay looking their best.

Workout Clothes

Who doesn’t need a little motivation to hit the gym? Cute new workout clothes, like leggings or a tank top, can be the perfect reason to get out and break a sweat.

Makeup

Often times, people are scared to jump out of their comfort zone when it comes to makeup, so gift your besties with a new palette or a bright highlighter.

Jewelry

Jewelry is always a hit. Whether it is a statement piece or a precious token, this gift will be cherished long after Valentine’s Day.

Graphic Socks

When all else fails, cute socks always win. Fuzzy and comfortable ones are the most popular.

Valentine’s Day Themed Food

Evelyn Martinez (’18) said, “We [AHN’s Drama Club] are having karaoke with all of our favorite love songs that we all sent each other, and we’re going to make heart shaped cookies, and little cupcakes and such, and have a mini picnic outside of the Bailey Center and just have fun.”

For Him:

Sneakers

Foot Locker to most guys is like Sephora is to most girls. Sneakers are a fool-proof gift for that lucky someone.

Food Gift Cards

Restaurant gift cards, especially from places you two enjoy together, are always a hit. Whether from a fast food spot, or a dine in restaurant, your boyfriend is sure to love it.

DIY Photo Album

This is an inexpensive and sentimental gift you can give. You can follow this video, or you could even go to Michael’s Craft Store or Target, and buy a photo album to insert printed photos into.

Vinyls, a Mixtape, or even a Spotify premium membership

A mixtape of songs that make him think of you or a vinyl from a band that both of you love could be the perfect gift for a music lover.

Merch from his favorite sports team

There is no greater love than the love of a guy for his favorite sports team, obviously besides his love for you!

Yeti Cup

Yeti closing lids are now in stock! #boatersrepublic #stpete and #southtampa

Yeti cups make a great gift idea because they are ideal for the hot summer days right around the corner.

Candy

Nothing says “Happy Valentine’s Day,” like chocolate!
